Clean A Fish:
Step 1: catch the fish
Step 2: take the fish home
Step 3: put the fish on a flat surface that you can wash off
Step 4: grab a scaler, if you don't have one, grab a spoon
Step 5: grab a fillet knife, if you have one, if you don't, grab a butcher knife
(Step 4 & 5 deal with all fish except catfish. for catfish, all you need is a knife and pliers)
Step 6: pull the scales off with the scaler or spoon
(for catfish, cut the skin with a knife all around the body behind the top fin and pull the skin off)
Step 7: cut the heads off right behind the side fin
(same with catfish. just cut its head right where you cut the skin)
Step 8: slice the belly open
Step 9: clean the guts out
Step 10: take the fish inside and clean them out under running water
Step 11: clean up your mess
Step 12: put the fish in a ziploc bag and fill with water and seal the bag
Step 13: put the bag in the freezer
